Absolutely outstanding fish and a lovely restaurant. The wine is also outstanding with a great selection... been staying in Aldeburgh for the last six months and this was the best meal I’ve had here yet.

Excellent restaurant serving local produce. The weather was clement enough to sit outside and we thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails and dinner menu. Especially recommend the South Indian fish curry and the crab linguine. Really great service. Throughly recommend.

A lovely little restaurant and yet, doesn’t feel crowded. The food was amazing and actually, one of the best fish & chips I ate in a very long time. The waiter said that the fish cooked fresh and not been frozen and you can tell. For any tourists that are coming from busy cities like London, be aware that it is a slow paste town and the service the same. We waited 20-30 minutes for fish and chips and even soft drinks take a while to arrive and that’s ok just aware of that. They also have a little seafood shop just nearby that we also bought few items and it was delicious. Highly recommended If you are not in a rush.

What a fantastic spot. One of the first things we noticed when sat down were the amazing smells. Every time we saw someone else’s food brought to them we felt the need to say ooo that looks good. We had the fish platter and half a garlic lobster with fries and both were amazing. The staff were lovely as is the decor. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again.

I have been frequenting this restaurant with my mother and grandmother for probably about twenty years, which tells you how good it is: we keep coming back! My grandmother is almost 90 and very unsteady on her feet, but the staff are very welcoming and reserve us an accessible table. It means a lot for Grandma to be able to get out, and the warm welcome and kind, thoughtful service here make it a special family spot for us. Mum and Grandma adore the fish pie, whilst I've made my way through the rest of the menu and can safely say it's all delicious! In fact, we once returned from a holiday in Rhodes and had better mezze at the Aldeburgh Market! Not only is the cooking superb, but the portions are generous. The fishmonger attached to the restaurant is also very helpful and sells excellent quality seafood.

Used the Deli today and was impressed with the range of smoked fish, shellfish and Cromer crab... The assistant was very helpful in telling us all options/combinations that were available so we opted for the sharing platter ( made to your budget). Can honestly say it was great value and absolutely delicious (homemade horseradish for smoked fish was amazing)
